- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for prototype, pilot, and production phases of new product development
- Negotiate development and commercial supply contracts with strategic suppliers and subcontractors
- Identify and qualify second-source suppliers to mitigate risk and ensure continuity
- Collaborate with internal teams to align procurement activities with product development milestones
- Drive early supplier involvement to influence design-for-manufacturability and cost efficiency
- Monitor inbound shipments, resolve delivery issues, and ensure accurate ERP tracking
- Ensure procurement processes comply with ISO 13485, FDA QSR, and EU MDR requirements
- Support supplier qualification, categorization, and performance evaluation
- Contribute to audit readiness and maintain complete documentation for internal and external review

Profile
- Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Medical Technology, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic procurement within a global supply chain, ideally in the MedTech sector
- Proven track record in sourcing for Class III medical devices and managing NPI programs
- Strong understanding of DFx principles, cost modeling, and supplier engagement
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or QAD
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks including FDA 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 13485, and EU MDR
- Project management experience
- Fluent in English; German proficiency at C1 level is strongly preferred
- Structured, reliable, and confident in cross-functional collaboration
