Aufgaben

Fachliche und disziplinarische Leitung des Supply Chain Teams bestehend aus den 6 Mitarbeitenden in den Bereichen Purchasing, operativem und strategischem Einkauf, Supply Chain und Logistik.
Operative und strategische Planung und Umsetzung aller abteilungsbezogenen Aufgaben, inklusive Ressourcenplanung.
Entwicklung und Umsetzung innovativer Lieferkettenlösungen, inklusive aktiver Verhandlungsführung mit strategischen Partnern und Lieferanten.
Aufbau und Pflege langfristiger Lieferantenbeziehungen durch gezielte Kommunikation, persönliche Präsenz und Remote-Kontakt.
Optimierung von End-to-End-Supply-Chain-Prozessen, einschließlich Procurement, Materialmanagement und Datenanalyse.
Qualitätssicherung entlang der Supply Chain unter Einhaltung regulatorischer und interner Anforderungen.
Initiierung funktionsübergreifender Prozessoptimierungen, mit Empfehlungen zu organisatorischen und strategischen Änderungen.
Interne Schulung und Coaching von Teams.
Förderung einer Kultur der kontinuierlichen Verbesserung im Einklang mit unseren Unternehmenswerten.
Duale Berichtslinie an den Vice President Supply Chain in den USA und unsere CTO in Deutschland.

Profil

Abgeschlossenes Studium mindestens auf Bachelor-Niveau oder gleichwertige Qualifikation, idealerweise mit Schwerpunkt Supply Chain, Betriebswirtschaft oder Ingenieurwesen.
Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung im Bereich Supply Chain - bevorzugt in der Medizintechnik, Pharmaindustrie oder einer vergleichbar regulierten Industrie.
Erfahrung mit komplexen Vertragsverhandlungen mit Lieferanten und externen Dienstleistern.
Führungserfahrung mit ausgeprägter Fähigkeit Mitarbeitende und Teams zu entwickeln und individuelle Stärken gezielt zu fördern.
Sicherer Umgang mit adressatengerechter Kommunikation auf operativer und strategischer Ebene
Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse (C1) sowie sichere Englischkenntnisse (mindestens B2) in Wort und Schrift
Gelegentliche Reisebereitschaft.

Mission

Technical and disciplinary management of the supply chain team consisting of six employees in the areas of purchasing, operational and strategic procurement, supply chain, and logistics.
Operational and strategic planning and implementation of all department-related tasks, including resource planning.
Development and implementation of innovative supply chain solutions, including active negotiation with strategic partners and suppliers.
Establishment and maintenance of long-term supplier relationships through targeted communication, personal presence, and remote contact.
Optimization of end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, material management, and data analysis.
Quality assurance along the supply chain in compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.
Initiating cross-functional process optimizations, with recommendations for organizational and strategic changes.
Internal training and coaching of teams.
Promoting a culture of continuous improvement in line with our corporate values.
Dual reporting to the Vice President Supply Chain in the US and our CTO in Germany.

Profile

Completed bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification, ideally with a focus on supply chain, business administration, or engineering.
Several years of professional experience in supply chain—preferably in medical technology, the pharmaceutical industry, or a similarly regulated industry.
Experience with complex contract negotiations with suppliers and external service providers.
Leadership experience with a strong ability to develop employees and teams and promote individual strengths in a targeted manner.
Confident communication skills at the operational and strategic level.
Very good German skills (C1) and confident English skills (at least B2) in writing and speaking.
Willingness to travel occasionally.
